FLYING INTO SOUTH FLORIDA
You have two options for flying into South Florida to get to Islamorada. You can fly in to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, or Miami International Airport. We encourage you to check flights into both airports to compare prices. Historically, Fort Lauderdale is cheaper. It will only tack on about 20-30 minutes to the overall drive to Islamorada.
- Miami International Airport (MIA) – 79 miles (Closer to Islamorada, can be a bit more expensive depending on booking times)
- Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) – 109 miles (Many times cheaper than MIA, a bit farther of a drive from Islamorada)
